Hi all,
well talking about the HCI orientation, i only have three words to describe it. Hwa chong rocks! Well, I'm in 1I1, from the consortium Ispark, and every competition or organization that they have starts with "i" e.g. iCouncil, iLeague, iping pong, etc. Well, starting the day off, with have us assembling at the Kah Kee Hall, and we start shouting some awesome cheers. (Anyway, i was in group 14 for the orientation.)
ok, then what followed was though exhausting yet exciting. Most of the time we were practising our cheers for the cheers competitons, but the orientation was also peppered with mini-games.
At the end of orientation day 1, it was mass games. It was... how do you describe it... humongous!
First, we had to make our own water bombs, a few exploded on my shoes, so before we had even started the water bomb fight, I was already wet. The rules were that we were supposed to hit down the other team's tower (which was actually a chair) in the first half, then in the second half, it was FFA ( free for all). By the time i finished my water bombs on Wei zhi, Wiseley and some other guy, I was drenched to the toe.
On the second day of the orientation, most of it was cheering and we had the cheering competition, and we lost. Sad... Nothing much...
