Ok, so this is basically my multiple intelligences results. Analyse it carefully, admire it's vibrant use of colours, the red, the orange, the bright yellow, the calm green. Done? So what I feel is basically this multiple intelligence quiz is not really that effective for firstly, it doesn't explain in detail how they judge, what actions you would normally take. For example, you are outspoken and like to argue, but blah blah blah blah. There is no concrete example to justify their results. Furthermore, when I first took my multiple intelligence quiz, I was under the category auditory and visual, and visual being spatial stuff. And yet in this quiz, my results in the visual/spatial category is my second lowest results, and this confuses me. I may take the quiz again...

Let us consider this: Is Maycomb a good place to live in? Is Maycomb corrupted? [focus on 2 main themes: Courage and Prejudice]

Interpersonal:Conduct an interview with a friend (not from HCI) or family member. Find out from their point of view on prejudice and discrimination. Either record the interview or write out the interview transcript.

This is an interview between me and father regarding discrimination

Me: Have you experienced prejudice and discrimination?

Father: To some extent, yes. When pursuing my studies in the States, I was often a victim of discrimination for I was Chinese, and at that time, the Chinese were viewed as weak.

Me: Have you seen anybody you know experience discrimination and prejudice?

Father: I know some of my fellow colleagues who have gone overseas to study and have been victim of prejudice by the Caucasians or the locals.

Me: How do you feel about a victim of prejudice and discrimination?

Father: Being a victim of prejudice was not something good, for you were perceived as a weak, puny person without any contact at all with the aggressor.

Intrapersonal [pick one]:

a. Who would you want to be friends with in the novel? Explain.

b. Which character would you like to play in the movie version of the novel? Explain.

c. Write a diary entry for a major character of the novel.

I would like to play the character of Atticus in the movie version. Firstly, I would like to play the role where I can have a sense of moral authority. Secondly, I want to play a role where I know everybody and can interact with everybody. Last but not least, I want to be able to look at the different issues with a more mature point of view.

Firstly, I want to play a role where I can have a sense of moral authority. Being a adult who defends the Blacks, although I will have to suffer the discrimination of the normal folk, I can also be respected by the Blacks, and this a different feeling that I want to try, defending the weak, instead of siding with the strong.

Secondly, I want to play a role where I know everybody and I can interact with everybody, because I will be related to everybody in the village either by blood or by marriage, and this means that everybody is my relative and I can relate to them.

Last but not least, I want to play a role where I can relate to issues in a more mature point of

view, not like Scout, where she looks at issues with a childish outlook, but as an adult, I wil;l
